1. You read in the paper that Ken Lewis didn’t have enough balls to stand up to the government and save his shareholders from buying Merrill after he realized Merrill was worthless because somebody in the government didn’t want to let Merrill’s lenders and shareholders deal with their own losses. And today Geithner says he’s got a new new plan for confiscating your wealth and giving it to the gutless frauds on Wall Street and he’ll tell you all about on Monday.
2. Meanwhile Bill Gross, whose firm has already directly received billions in gains from his lobbying the government for welfare to make his investments whole, put out more propaganda today telling you that unless you let the government confiscate trillions of dollars and then give it to people like Bill Gross and other cronies, that we’ll enter a “mini-depression”.
3. How long have I been warning everybody that the government interventions and stimuli and bailouts and other forms of destroying private property laws are what will actually drive us into a depression. Guys, if the government passes this stimulus bill to further redistribute trillions from you and me to their cronies, we are eventually heading to DJIA 6000 or lower.
How about dow 0 after they steal all that's left. Depression to me is much better then the inflation that's going to happen. To me the spending bill is poison. Ken Lewis is being paid Billions to look like a chump but at night he's laughing cause he knows who the real chumps are

I have an idea: How about the people that borrow our money take on the responsibility of repaying our taxes?
They want the benefits of our future tax dollars? Fine, they can take the obligation to pay those future taxes on our behalf.
THAT would be a wicked loophole. Utterly ridiculous. But ridiculous is normal in D.C.
I think they're trying to fill the coffers with "cash" so they can ride out the 5 year recession they've created for us.

We have to stop this! I have grandchildren and I will not have them grow up poor in a socialist country. I don't blame Obama for this mess but he is trying his best to make it worse.

What makes me think that Porkulous, the ever growing give away bill, will be passed in the dark of night?
I am writing or calling my senators (Boxer and Feinstein) daily now. Fat chance they are listening. Boxer's phone answerer told me the calls and e-mails were about 50-50 this morning.
We have to keep hammering these people. If enough of us keep at it, maybe just maybe they will get the message.

Ha ha. I live in California too. Did you see Boxer's comments the other day. She is giddy about Porkulous. She called Republicans irresponsible for opposing it. Call, write, whatever....I am afraid this one is gonna pass. Soon I bet, because the longer it is delayed, the more people learn, and the more they don't like. We are screwed.

So far my Senators (Texas) are being reasonable and trying to stop this thing. I'm afraid that some smoke-filled-room compromise might do just that -- compromise them. Hand them the right "tax break" and they'll fold.

Why won't anyone start calling taxes what they really are, forced confiscation of labor. Isn't that slavery. At what point do we clean house and throw both parties out and start from scratch? Within the next 4 years the country will go over the edge of more people getting some form of government check than not. Anyone else for going back to the day when you couldn't vote if you didn't own property?
