is that what they call it now? i thought every hard working person that wanted to be able to live after "retirement" needed to have a 401k just to survive! they call that "investing" now? like we have an option. what the.....???

congress is funny. kind of like good cop, bad cop. they are all liars and in it for themselves but, try to put on a good show, to make us think they are doing their job with our best interests in mind. the whole thing is scripted like pro wrestling. you know what would be cool? if when they were elected to office we could make them wear super hero costumes to work everyday! it would be like the superfriends justice league but, on cspan! they would have every single household in the u.s. tuned in!!!! they wouldn't be able to get away with anything!

I think there is an easy way to stop the bailouts. Like the porn industry came out last week and was seriously asking for 5 billion, if we can get every single illegitimate and legitimate industry that exists to come with hat in hand to the fed asking for money then we can get the politicians to see that things are really getting insane and they may stop. We can even send them letters or ask business owners to send letters to their congress persons and senators asking to bail them out. I mean what are they going to do? say yes to everyone? Good idea, bad idea?

Here is what I don't understand. Why is obama placing the blame for the financial mess on wall street? Who are the people giving him his information? Do they not realize that all 401ks and pension plans are invested in wall street? What the hell do they think a mutual fund is!? Destroy the very industry and people that hold the future of myself and every other American in the palm of their hand. Do they want us to watch our retirements dwindle to nothing so that now we have no choice but to depend on the fed for our every need? I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed but, this doesn't make sense to me. Am i overreacting here? Anyone?
