Deficit Neutral! The Most Dangerous Spin Of All

While congress is home for recess. One of the major talking points by the Democrats is that Health Care will be Deficit Neutral! This spin has been given to all Democrats who are supporting the Health Care bill. What does Deficit Neutral mean? What it really means is, whatever the deficit is that year they can always claim that Health care is Deficit Neutral. Health care cost could go up by huge margins and the Democrats will still say that Health Care is Deficit Neutral. The reality is that Health Care should be Revenue Neutral in order to stop this spin and the lies!

Congress does not have any idea what the costs of health care is going to be. But we can look at the costs of Medicare, Medicare Part D and Medicaid and see how well those programs are so called Deficit Neutral. At this point in time with the nation having a 70 Trillion dollar combined debt and unemployment rates soaring. The nation does not have any ability to pay for health care or any other programs. Congress needs to focus on the debt and unfunded mandates. If Congress could even be fiscally responsible then maybe we as a nation would be able to work things out one way or another with honest discussion, debate and transparency. The real solution to the health care problem is people being employed first.

The biggest problem Congress has, is their attempt to cram legislation down the American people's throat with out reading the legislation and full transparency as promised. Yet Congress is scared of holding town hall meetings to discuss the bill and listen to the angry people. They prefer to hide behind telephone and Internet town hall meeting for fear of being caught in a lie. By not holding local town hall meetings and face the American people, they prefer to cower with their staff that can relay answers and spin to their constituents. Congress needs to meet with their constituents and face them head on to answer questions and see the reaction of the people for the behavior of Congress and the President of the United States. Congress has pulled all kinds of gimmicks, such as speed readers, stacking committees, stacking testimony and just plain ignoring the American people who are paying the bill. With a 70 Trillion dollar combined debt. The American people know that Congress is totally irresponsible and are now corrupt to a point where they are destroying this great nation.

If this Health Care package is so good? Why doesn't Congress and Federal Employees accept the very same Health care package they are attempting to push on the American people? The very answer lies with in the reason why Congress has exempt themselves from this Health Care proposal! Congress does not want this Health Car bill for them selves because they know all of the problems with it!

Another thing I love is the so called donut holes. The reality is that Congress is the very hole itself with their behavior and spin. The reality of this Health Care bill is that Congress does not have any idea what the costs are going to be. That alone is a sham in itself. So remember everyone. This health Care Bill is not Revenue Neutral but is Deficit Neutral! What ever that means. Deficit Neutral means bankrupting the nation!
