Dearest Comrade Cody:

Please get in the spirit of the New Year 2009! From each according to their abilities, to each according to their needs! I am not good at sewing, but I pulled out the American Flag that covered my dad's casket, given to him by the military for his service in WWII fighting for our now lost freedom. I'm in a quandary about which color to choose, for the hammer and sickle to sew on top of the stripes on the flag. Do you agree that the Democrats identify best with blue (for the blue states)? I think the blue hammer and sickle over our stripes should be adopted for this monumental time in our history, after all comrade, it is not often that a free nation loses its own freedom to its own freely elected government. I, for one have decided to forego earning income (taxable), and to begin the year 2009 living off assets (non-taxable), so as to create a year 2009 tax return that in essence "flips the bird" to our new comrades in power. This is all for now from sector 35 (California's 35th congessional district), in which I'm so proud to be represented in congress by none other than that human piece of trash named "Maxine Waters", arguably one of the most corrupt congresspersons ever, and who by the way won re-election by 81%. Yes it's true, I live in the people's republik of California, land of the incredibly stupid, and home of the once-free.

The majority of Americans are clueless to economics, markets, and monetary policy. Who's to blame? We are, for putting up with the public school agenda. I often wondered why public schools don't dedicate one whole year to the understanding and study of the Constitution, it is the "law of the land." Not to mention a more thorough study of economics. I believe we need a sound monetary policy or at the very least a competitive currency; something to end The Federal Reserve's Money Monopoly. Something like H.R.4683 Free Competition in Currency Act of 2007. http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=h110-4683&tab=summary

With the economy in ruin and the bailouts running wild, it's like a chapter from Atlas Shrugged. Buckle up, who is John Gault?

I have to admit I thought about buying a gun for the first time in a long time after TARP was passed.  I would definitely own rifles if I didn't have young children.  They are too young to be properly taught about gun safety.  I was taught at 10 and it stuck, but younger than that - not for me.

It's amazing how quickly we become acclimated to the new order, though.  I remember how angry I was last Fall - I really felt like I was witnessing our country beginning the change into an evil oligarchy that had reached the point where corruption was no longer the stuff of back alleys, but instead open and accepted.  Maybe it is the change of administrations and a chance to see if anything does indeed change, because if things really keep going along the present course . . . I think we are done.
